On July 11, 2025, we celebrated the grand opening of Intuitive Surgical’s first manufacturing facility in Bulgaria.
The world leader in robotic surgery and minimally invasive procedures, Intuitive Surgical, chose the industrial zone of Parvomay for its new high-tech center. The project is part of the company’s long-term strategy to expand its European presence in the field of advanced medical equipment.
Developed on a site of over 150,000 sq.m, with a gross built-up area of 17,600 sq.m, the complex includes production areas, an administrative building, and complete engineering infrastructure.
The architectural concept by IPA - Architecture and more follows the logic of the production process - clearly defined yet visually and functionally connected volumes that form a coherent composition and provide an optimal working environment.
Certified under the LEED Gold international standard, Intuitive Surgical’s new facility stands among the largest investments in the medical technology sector in Bulgaria and serves as a remarkable example of sustainable and contemporary industrial architecture.
