02. IPA History

IPA was founded in 2005 under the name "Ivo Petrov - Architects" by arch. Ivo Petrov and arch. Tsvetan Petrov - father and son. In the last 18 years, Tsvetan Petrov transformed the company from a small architectural studio to one that is known as a successful model for Bulgarian architecture and a world-class engineering team.

Having completed over 700 projects and earning over 30 architectural awards, the company maintains a leadership position in the market and is a preferred partner for some of the largest projects in Bulgaria.

On 22.11.2022, the company changed its name and visual identity and officially became IPA.

Today, IPA Architecture and More offers a comprehensive platform of services for an excellent investment project. We are a dynamically developing organization and team. The company is committed to providing customers and partners with more and succeeding together.

Managing Director

Arch. Tsvetan Petrov has been IPA's Managing Director since the start, and for the past 18 years, he has managed to transform the architectural studio into a successful model for a Bulgarian company with a diverse portfolio of meaningful projects and a rich palette of services in the field of investment design.

He believes in technological progress and constantly motivates the team to implement innovations in the work process.

His vision for sound architecture, striving for global standards, and commitment to developing the organization's most valuable assets - the people - helped him build an exceptional team and environment for creating a first-class product.

He is said to be the best swimmer among architects and the best architect among swimmers!

arch. Dimitar Dimitrov

Technical Manager

Arch. Dimitar Dimitrov is the Technical Manager of IPA and has been involved in the development of the company since its birth.

The rich experience, professional thoroughness, and passion for precision he brings to the realization of architectural concepts allow him to find a solution even to the most complex issues. Dimitar is a natural leader whom people follow and value.

It's his mission to develop and implement sustainable design and construction for the projects made by IPA.

Registered BREEAM auditor, he guides the certification process throughout the entire project cycle to make sure sustainability criteria are met.

They say that he is the biggest fan of his daughter, his wife, and... Star Wars!

arch. Theodore Dellev

Business Development Manager

"We must not forget to dream big and the fact that we leave a lasting imprint in space!"

Arch. Teodor Delev is a Business Development Manager at IPA.

His involvement in the company began shortly after it was founded. The combination of his experience and knowledge of architecture, site planning, and the client's needs has contributed to the rapid growth and prosperity of IPA.

As well as establishing IPA's first architectural design standards, he contributed to the definition of the main units and their interactions within the organization. The example he sets for his colleagues and the guidance he provides quickly made him a valuable mentor to all members of the team.

Today, arch. Teodor Delev consults IPA's clients at the earliest stages of the investment process. An invaluable aspect of his skill set is his ability to conduct a deep analysis of the environment. This allows him to identify potential challenges in the realization of the investment intention.

He is said to be the biggest fan of jazz and the finest baker of Easterbread!

Gergana Ivanova

Manager Legal, Finance and Administration

Gergana Ivanova has been part of IPA for more than 15 years and actively participates in the development and establishment of the company.

Her legal expertise and understanding of investment design and construction make her a very valuable asset to the company.

Her legal expertise covers the applicable framework, as well as the procedures for approving and coordinating investment intentions.

She manages the company's contractual relationships with customers, partners, and suppliers, and handles administrative functions.

Her support and consideration for people motivate the team, and her cheerful nature and desire to have fun bring a positive mood to any situation.

They say she loves all kinds of fun, creates cozy moments for the whole team, and knows what the most delicious wine is!

Education and Upbringing

We are particularly focused on projects in the field of education and child development.

Through our work, we strive to form aesthetic perceptions in children and provide a quality and sustainable environment for their education and development. These are the projects we are most proud of and put the most love and dedication into.
Projects with a Cause

In 2020, IPA supported the design of the reconstruction of the "Sveta Sofia" Children's Development Complex in the capital.

For our colleagues, this is one of the most inspiring projects. We put special care and attention into helping a noble cause come true.
