IPA - Architecture and more is a Sofia-based architecture and engineering company with over 20 years of experience in architectural and engineering design, as well as complex development projects. Our team works across residential, public, industrial, healthcare, educational and infrastructure projects, bringing together architecture, engineering disciplines, BIM technologies, sustainable design and project management in one coordinated process.

We provide comprehensive design services, from early-stage concepts and feasibility studies to technical design, multidisciplinary coordination, approvals and implementation support. Our approach ensures clarity, precision and efficiency throughout every stage of the project.

02. Our History

History of IPA - Architecture and more as an architecture and engineering company

IPA - Architecture and more was founded in 2005 as Ivo Petrov - Architects by Arch. Ivo Petrov and Arch. Tsvetan Petrov, father and son. Over the years, the company has grown from a small architectural studio into a multidisciplinary architecture and engineering practice with a strong portfolio of projects in Bulgaria and abroad.

The company’s development has been shaped by a clear focus on quality, technical expertise and continuous improvement. With more than 800 completed projects and over 50 architectural awards, IPA - Architecture and more has become a trusted partner for complex investment projects and large-scale developments in Bulgaria.

In 2022, the company changed its name and visual identity and officially became IPA - Architecture and more, reflecting the broader scope of its services and its multidisciplinary approach.

Today, IPA - Architecture and more provides integrated architectural design, engineering design, BIM services, sustainable design, project management and consulting. The company continues to grow as a team and organization, delivering comprehensive design solutions for clients and partners.

Arch. Tsvetan Petrov has been the Managing Director of IPA - Architecture and more since the company was founded. Over the past 20 years, he has transformed the Sofia-based architectural studio into a multidisciplinary architecture and engineering company with a rich portfolio of significant residential, public, industrial, sports and infrastructure projects.

His management approach combines architectural vision, technological development and continuous investment in the team. Under his leadership, IPA - Architecture and more has developed expertise in investment project design, architectural and engineering design, BIM processes, sustainable design and complex project management.

Arch. Tsvetan Petrov believes in technological progress and encourages the IPA team to integrate innovation in the design process. Through a commitment to high professional standards, effective coordination and the development of people within the company, he has built an environment for creating high-quality, functional and sustainable architecture.

Arch. Dimitar Dimitrov

Technical Manager, IPA

Arch. Dimitar Dimitrov is the Technical Manager of IPA - Architecture and more and has been involved in the company’s development since its founding.

With extensive experience, professional thoroughness and a strong commitment to precision in the realization of architectural ideas, he is able to find solutions to complex and specific challenges. Dimitar is a natural leader whom people follow and value.

In recent years, his mission has been to develop and implement the principles of sustainable design and construction within the company.

As a registered BREEAM Assessor, he supports and guides the certification process throughout the entire project cycle, helping achieve the specific sustainability criteria set for each project.

They say he is the biggest fan of his daughter, his son, his wife and... Star Wars!

Arch. Theodore Dellev

Business Development Manager, IPA

Arch. Teodor Delev is Business Development Manager at IPA - Architecture and more.

He became part of the team shortly after the company was founded. His experience and knowledge in architecture, urban planning and client needs have contributed to the rapid growth and development of IPA - Architecture and more.

He laid the foundations of the company’s modern work organization by helping define its main departments and the interactions between them. He also created the first architectural design standards implemented by IPA. Through his personal example and the guidance he gives to his colleagues, he quickly became a mentor to everyone on the team.

Today, Arch. Teodor Delev advises IPA’s clients at the earliest stages of the investment process. His ability to conduct in-depth analysis of the environment and quickly identify potential challenges in the realization of an investment intention is highly valued.

They say he is the biggest fan of jazz and the finest baker of Easter bread!

Gergana Ivanova

Legal, Finance and Administration Manager, IPA

Gergana Ivanova has been part of IPA - Architecture and more for more than 17 years and actively contributes to the company’s development and growth.

Her legal expertise and in-depth understanding of investment project design and construction are highly valuable across all aspects of the company’s work.

She has extensive knowledge of the applicable regulatory framework, as well as the procedures required for the coordination, approval and legal realization of investment intentions.

With attention and care for every project, she manages contractual relationships with clients, partners and suppliers and oversees the company’s administrative functions.

Her support and care for people motivate the team, while her cheerful character and love of fun bring a positive mood to every situation.

They say she loves all kinds of fun, creates a sense of warmth and comfort for the whole team and knows how to recognize good wine!
