Located near Sofia, Residential Park Lozen is a low-rise residential environment shaped by the relationship between architecture, landscape, and shared outdoor spaces. The project brings together residential buildings, pedestrian areas, landscaping, and public infrastructure within a comprehensive urban design concept.
The architectural approach creates a gradual transition between private residential spaces, semi-public areas, and the shared spaces of the development. Building scale, orientation, landscape, and pedestrian circulation are developed as part of an integrated system connecting the residential environment with its natural context.
The three ArchDaily nominations recognize different aspects of the project, from its overall residential concept and building typologies to the architectural products and solutions integrated into the development.
Residential Park Lozen forms part of the work of IPA - Architecture and more in residential architecture and large-scale residential developments. The project also reflects the studio’s broader approach to urban design, where architecture, landscape, and public space are developed as an integrated environment.
