On October 24, 2025, the Bulgarian Army Stadium reconstruction, designed by IPA - Architecture and more, was selected among the six leading projects in progress in the Unbuilt Leisure Project of the Year category at the Archello Awards 2025.
The selection brought international recognition to the architectural concept for the future home of CSKA and placed the project among notable unbuilt and in-progress leisure developments. The reconstruction is being developed as a contemporary multi-purpose sports venue integrated into the context of Borisova Garden, with the project targeting UEFA Category IV standards.
Update: On December 3, 2025, the project advanced further in the competition and won the Public Vote at the Archello Awards 2025 in the Unbuilt Leisure Project of the Year category.
