IPA has fully integrated BIM standards thanks to our professional and innovative BIM team. We have an internal R&D department that has been working on automating processes and researching new workflows over the past four+ years. We have created our own library of Dynamo graphs, Python / PyRevit scripts and more recently – C# / .NET plugins and solutions (primarily for Autodesk Revit). We have also been experimenting with Generative Design workflows – Rhino (Grasshopper / Rhino Inside), Dynamo (Revit Generative Design), Environmental Analysis, etc.
This is a multidisciplinary role for curious individuals, always seeking to expand their horizons and learn something new.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with the transfer of all our automated workflows to “proper” C# / .NET plugins;
- Create new tools for inner company use;
- Research and integrate new workflows and software solutions;
- Work on generative design and analytical algorithms and take part in every stage of design and construction;
- Take part in educational sessions for the company team.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, MEP Engineering or a related field;
- Strong knowledge of Autodesk Revit (Project Environment and Family Editor);
- Knowledge of the Revit API is a huge advantage;
- Experience with C# is a huge advantage;
- Advanced experience with Dynamo / Grasshopper / Rhino Inside;
- Additional skills – Python / PyRevit / Python scripting for Dynamo;
- Experience with other products from the Autodesk ecosystem is preferable;
- Previous working experience as an Architect / Engineer is an advantage;
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams;
- Analytical and structured problem-solving mindset;
- Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
