On June 5, 2025, an official groundbreaking ceremony marked the start of construction of the new building for 201st Primary School Sts. Cyril and Methodius in the village of Lozen. The project is a donation from IPA - Architecture and more and forms part of our commitment to creating contemporary, functional, and sustainable educational environments tailored to the needs of schools and their students.
The new building will include six classrooms for 25 students each, specialized classrooms, two preschool groups, and a spacious sports hall. Part of the building is dedicated to a library and information center with a reading area and spaces for independent study. The project forms part of the work of IPA - Architecture and more in educational buildings, where spatial organization, natural light, circulation, and the relationship between indoor and outdoor environments are key elements of the design approach.
The outdoor environment is enhanced with playgrounds, sports areas, and landscaped spaces that extend the learning environment into the schoolyard. In the architectural design, the overall concept combines functionality, sustainability, and attention to human scale to create a welcoming and stimulating environment for students and teachers.
