The long-awaited news: the main construction phase of the reconstruction of Bulgarian Army Stadium has begun.
CSKA selected the contractor for the structural part of the reconstruction of Bulgarian Army Stadium. Sports Properties Bulgarian Army signed a contract with Glavbolgarstroy Holding AD. The implementation period is 12 months, during which the structural elements of the new sports facility will be completed and installed. The entire stadium, including the improvement of the surrounding park environment, is expected to be completed in approximately 18 months.
The project, designed by IPA - Architecture and more, provides for the construction of a modern stadium that meets all contemporary requirements for sports facilities. The design of the new stadium was developed with sustainability and the preservation of the surrounding park environment in mind, in line with best practices and standards in modern construction.
According to the preliminary plan, construction activities will continue for approximately a year and a half. The project provides for the use of prefabricated structural elements that will be manufactured outside the park area. This is in line with contemporary trends in the reconstruction of this type of facility and ensures that the new stadium will be built according to the highest standards of quality and safety.
