A1 Motor Park, the largest motorsport circuit in the Balkans, and one of the most significant sports infrastructure projects in Bulgaria in recent years, officially opened on March 21.

The facility has been designed and delivered in full compliance with the standards of the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) and the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM), providing conditions for competitions and events of international scale.

A1 Motor Park is 4 km long and features 15 turns, eight left and seven right, as well as a start-finish straight of over 900 meters, allowing speeds of up to 280 - 300 km/h. The circuit offers 21 different configurations, ranging from 1.09 to 3.91 km in length, making it adaptable for international competitions, training sessions, and events.

The first lap was driven by Nikola Tsolov, current leader in the Formula 2 standings, marking the start of a new chapter for motorsport in Bulgaria. The opening programme featured demonstrations of supercars, GT cars and single-seaters, alongside motorcycle and drift performances, highlighting the track’s full range of capabilities.
