Bulgarian Army Stadium has received its occupancy permit and has been officially cleared for use. This marks a major milestone in the reconstruction of Bulgarian Army Stadium and brings the venue one step closer to welcoming CSKA Sofia and its supporters back home.
The project has progressed through a series of key stages, from the development of the architectural concept and design documentation to the start of construction. Receiving the occupancy permit marks the completion of another major phase in the stadium’s transformation.
The architectural design by IPA - Architecture and more focuses on creating a contemporary football venue shaped around functionality, comfort, safety, and the spectator experience, while maintaining a strong relationship with its setting in Borisova Garden.
The reconstructed Bulgarian Army Stadium has been designed to meet the demands of modern professional football, with a clear organization of circulation and dedicated areas for spectators, teams, media, officials, and operational staff.
With the stadium now officially cleared for use, the project has reached one of its most significant milestones.
