Panda Corporation entrusted the IPA team with the design of the third building in its logistics center located in the village of Ravno Pole. Completed in 2022, the facility now stands as one of the most advanced in the region and, with a total area of 21,154 square meters, ranks among the largest in Southeastern Europe.
The warehouse was conceived as a single expansive structure, functionally divided into two main zones, with a partial second level dedicated to administrative operations. The racking system reaches maximum vertical capacity, and the speed and safety of operations are ensured through inductive guidance technology for the handling equipment.
The implementation of the only 2D OSR automated system of its kind in the Balkans enables simultaneous storage and retrieval of goods on a single level. The system operates with six robots, significantly enhancing productivity in warehousing, order picking, and dispatching processes. The warehouse has been certified as a Class A investment by the Bulgarian Investment Agency.
The architectural design balances elegance with optimal functionality and fire safety. The facility is equipped with a sufficient number of TIR ramps and parking spaces to accommodate high logistics throughput.
Interior and exterior color schemes were carefully selected to align with the company's corporate identity.
In addition to utilizing materials that ensure high energy efficiency, Block C is equipped with a photovoltaic power plant that supplies a substantial portion of the building’s energy demands.
With the completion of the third building, the IPA team delivered a logistics base that is visually cohesive, fully functional, and operating at maximum capacity.
