About the project

Silver Star - the official distributor of Mercedes-Benz in Bulgaria, chose IPA as the designer of the famous car brand's new showroom and service center, located in Sofia. Our team undertook the complex task of creating a new elegant and functional center to become the new symbol of quality and professional service of the company. The building highlights the application of modern high-tech services and uncompromising quality in every detail. The complex in its entirety consists of several buildings that accommodate a showroom, a car service, and a car cosmetic center, sharing a unified elegant and smart design.

After several prestigious and successful locations - in Varna, Plovdiv, and Burgas, the company invested in its new home in the Bulgarian capital. The complex in Sofia will be Silver City's fourth one in the country. The new showroom of Mercedes-Benz is located in the industrial zone of the Kremikovtsi region and will cover an area of over 40,000 sq.m.

The look of the complex is impressive with its clean lines and modern, contemporary design that brings a high-tech feeling without deviating from the familiar Mercedes-Benz concept of classic and timeless, sustainable design.
The complex consists of four main buildings, housing various operations required for the completion of a full range of services in the supply and after-sales service area.

IPA had to meet the serious requirements of the client to ensure maximum comfort and functionality for all clients and visitors of the complex. The reception building accommodates a representative showroom for car sales and a reception area for customer service, plus the necessary administrative spaces. On the second floor above the car service are the so-called social premises - changing rooms, canteen, and multi-functional space. It is located centrally on the floor and provides an opportunity to hold meetings, rest, and other activities. For maximum functionality of the area, the space can be divided and organized using a removable wall.

The service stations for cars, trucks, and buses play an important role in the complex. In the service area, the construction of a bodywork-painting zone is planned, with a warehouse for spare parts, a reception area for service truck customers, sales of auto parts, a training center, a car wash for trucks, and an area for employees.
A significant detail of the complex is the planned construction of the first covered service hall for cars in Bulgaria, where customers will be able to park their vehicles and the service consultants will carry out the initial planning and comprehensive overview of the needed service.
